Layla is a very sweet and timid girl. She came to rescue because her parents were unable to care for her any longer due to illness. She is a little slow to warm up, but once she does she is very sweet and affectionate. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. She would love an active home that can help her exhaust her energy and provide lots of cuddles and comfort. It would also be great if there were an outgoing but submissive, small breed and well behaved k9 companion in her home. No children under the age of 13 or large breed dogs in the home please. Her forever family will need to understand that she needs quite a bit of patience for her to relax and become comfortable with them. She walks well on leash and is crate trained and potty trained. If you are interested in adopting precious Layla, please submit an application on our website heertorescue.org. We do not adopt out of state, please research the common medical issues for her breed mix.
